Converts 10/100M Ethernet to RS-485/422/TTL serial with 600 W surge protection and -40 to 85 °C operation
The UOTEK UT-6011M converts asynchronous RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 or TTL signals to a 10/100M Ethernet link. It serves automation engineers and system integrators who need to connect legacy field devices to TCP/IP networks without rewriting firmware.
A 600 W surge rating on the serial port shields connected equipment from transient voltage spikes. The unit accepts DC 5 V ±5 % through either a DC jack or a 5.08 mm two-pin Phoenix terminal, drawing only 80 mA, which simplifies cabinet wiring in space-constrained panels.
The serial interface operates from 300 bps to 921600 bps with configurable parity, data bits, stop bits and RTS/CTS or XON/XOFF flow control. Rated for -40 °C to 85 °C and 5–95 % humidity without condensation, it suits outdoor or unheated enclosures, though the 100 Mbit Ethernet ceiling limits aggregate throughput for high-density polling.
