Adds four optically isolated RS-232 serial ports via a 32-bit PCI slot with 2500 Vrms isolation and 921.6 kbps maximum speed
The UOTEK UT-764I adds four RS-232 ports to a desktop or industrial PC through a single 32-bit Universal PCI slot. A DB44 female connector on the bracket breaks out to four DB9 ports via an included cable, delivering standard RXD, TXD, GND, RTS and CTS signals for legacy equipment.
Engineers maintaining PLCs, CNC controllers, barcode scanners or serial terminals gain reliable port expansion with 2500Vrms optical isolation and TVS protection on every line. Systems without an available PCI slot or those requiring USB or PCI Express connectivity cannot use this card.
The card is rated for continuous use from -40°C to 85°C, with isolation and transient suppression active at all supported baud rates up to 921.6kbps. Hardware flow control and configurable parity, data and stop bits maintain data integrity during long polling cycles or uninterrupted logging sessions.
