Product identity

The Uperfect 23.8" portable monitor is a new IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. It weighs 8.98 pounds and measures 22.16 x 0.63 x 12.75 inches. The panel offers 300 cd/m² brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles. Connectivity includes HDMI and USB-C ports for plug-and-play use.

Who this suits and who it does not

The built-in 0°-180° adjustable kickstand and VESA mount support desktop, wall or arm mounting for flexible viewing. Users who need a display larger than 23.8 inches or a resolution higher than 1080p should look elsewhere. The 5.37-pound travel weight may exceed the limit for ultra-light carry-on setups. Buyers requiring tilt beyond 90° or overhead mounting are advised against this model.

The deciding specification

A 120Hz refresh rate on a 23.8-inch 1080p IPS panel determines whether this monitor meets the need for smooth motion in gaming and video. The 16:9 aspect ratio and 3ms response time support fast-paced content without blur. If the target device cannot output 120Hz over HDMI or USB-C, the primary advantage of this panel is not realised.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the built-in kickstand so the 23.8-inch screen stays stable on a desk?

Open the kickstand to a maximum of 90° from the panel back; the supplier warns against tilting beyond that or mounting overhead because the 8.98 lb weight can make the stand tip.

What part will need attention first if I keep the 120Hz IPS panel running for long sessions?

The 300 cd/m² backlight will gradually dim over thousands of hours; no user-serviceable parts exist, so plan on eventual panel replacement when brightness drops below your comfort level.

At what point does the 1000:1 contrast ratio become the limiting factor during extended HDR or dark-scene viewing?

In sustained dark content the fixed 1000:1 contrast shows grey blacks before the 3 ms response or 120 Hz refresh creates any visible artifact.
