What It Is

The Upmely Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit is a handheld, battery-powered device that removes air from regular and wide-mouth Mason jars. It uses a 3-watt, 5-volt motor to create an airtight seal that keeps liquids, dry goods and fragile foods fresh. The kit includes an upgraded accessory hose designed to fit most vacuum machines with a 6 mm accessory port or a 0.08-0.12 inch convex extraction rod.

Who It Is For

Home cooks who want a compact, portable tool for sealing jars at home, on camping trips or during picnics will appreciate the one-touch automatic operation and light 12-ounce weight. The ABS plastic and food-grade silicone construction is BPA-free and dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Buyers who need to vacuum-seal bags, canisters or containers other than Mason jars should look at a different style of vacuum sealer.

Deciding Specification

The upgraded hose kit connects only to ports measuring 6 mm in diameter or to convex extraction rods measuring 0.08 to 0.12 inch. If your existing vacuum machine uses a different port size or interface type, the supplied hose will not attach and the kit cannot function with that machine.

Questions about this item

How do I install the hose kit on the Upmely sealer, and what step do people get wrong?

Align the 6 mm accessory port or 0.08–0.12 in convex rod with the hose connector and press firmly until it clicks; the step most users miss is fully seating the connector so the seal holds.

What maintenance or replacement will the Upmely kit need later?

Hand-wash or dishwasher-safe the ABS body and food-grade silicone parts; replace the silicone gaskets when they lose elasticity or show cracks.

What limit shows up first under sustained use of the Upmely sealer?

The 3 W, 5 V motor is designed for intermittent sealing cycles; extended continuous runs can overheat the unit and trigger its thermal protection.
