Urth 37mm ND64 (6 Stop) Lens Filter Plus+

37mm ND64 filter for creative exposure control

The Urth 37mm ND64 (6 Stop) Lens Filter Plus+ is built for photographers and videographers who need to cut six f-stops of light. It reduces transmission to 1.56 percent, letting you keep wide apertures or slow shutter speeds in bright conditions. German SCHOTT glass with 20-layer nano-coating maintains clarity and resists water, oil and scratches. The ultra-slim magnalium rim prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Six stops of density for motion blur

At ND64 the filter comfortably handles harsh daylight, letting you drag shutters for silky water or clouds while keeping ISO low. It also opens the door to wide apertures such as f/1.4 or f/2 for subject separation without overexposure. In extremely intense light or when you need even longer exposures the six-stop reduction reaches its limit and a denser filter becomes necessary. The 20-layer coating keeps transmission consistent across the frame for even density.

Steps up from basic uncoated ND filters

This Plus+ model replaces entry-level filters that use plain glass and single coatings, which often introduce colour casts, flare and cleaning hassles. The upgrade is worth it when you shoot regularly in strong light and need reliable colour fidelity, easy maintenance and a slim profile that clears lens hoods. If you only need occasional light reduction or work exclusively in controlled studio conditions a simpler filter may suffice.
