55mm Stellar Filter Kit

This kit provides three star-effect filters in a single 55mm package for photographers who want creative light diffraction. It suits both amateur and professional shooters looking to add distinctive starbursts to bright highlights without changing exposure.

4 6 8 Point Star Options

The set includes 4-point, 6-point and 8-point filters so you can match the star shape to the scene. Japanese AGC optical glass with 8-layer nano-coating maintains sharpness while the ultra-slim magnalium rim minimises vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Double-Threaded Filter Design

Each filter features front threads that accept a lens cap or additional filters, keeping your workflow flexible. The slim profile frees up space in a filter stack and works with standard 55mm filter threads on compatible lenses.

Questions about this item

Will the 55mm thread work with my existing 55mm lens hood?

Yes, the double-threaded Magnalium rim lets you stack a 55mm hood or cap on top of the filter without vignetting on most lenses.

How can I confirm the 8-layer nano-coating is performing correctly?

Point the filter at a bright light — reflections should appear colour-neutral and ghosting should be minimal compared with an uncoated filter.

Does the kit include a filter pouch or do I need to buy one separately?

The kit supplies the 4-point, 6-point and 8-point star filters only; a protective pouch or case is not included.
