Urth 62mm ND Coverage Kit Plus+ ND2 ND4 ND8 ND64 ND1000 camera filter

Essential 62mm ND Filter Kit

The Urth 62mm ND Coverage Kit Plus+ supplies five neutral-density filters — ND2, ND4, ND8, ND64 and ND1000 — covering light reductions from 1 to 10 f-stops. Each filter uses German B270 SCHOTT optical glass with 20 layers of nano-coating for high transmission, water and oil resistance, and easier cleaning. The ultra-slim magnalium rims are double-threaded, allowing filters to stack or accept a lens cap without vignetting on most wide-angle lenses.

Landscape shooters needing flexible exposure control

Photographers who regularly shoot moving water, clouds or bright daylight scenes will appreciate the wide stop range in one pouch. Videographers requiring smooth motion blur at wide apertures also benefit. Buyers who only need a single fixed density or who work exclusively with screw-in circular polarisers will find the kit excessive. The 62mm thread limits use to lenses matching that diameter.

Verify lens thread and filter stack height

Confirm every lens you intend to use carries a 62mm front thread; step-up or step-down rings add thickness and may vignette. Check that the combined height of the ultra-slim frames plus any protective filter still clears your lens hood or matte box. Ensure your camera’s metering can compensate for up to 10 stops of light loss without requiring bulb-mode timing beyond the body’s limit.
