Urth 67mm Circular Polarizing Lens Filter Plus+

67mm CPL Filter for Landscape Photography

The Urth 67mm Circular Polarizing Lens Filter Plus+ cuts 99.9% of polarized light to remove reflections from water, glass and non-metallic surfaces. It increases contrast and boosts colour saturation so skies appear deeper and clouds stand out. The rotating front ring lets you tune the effect for each composition. Landscape and outdoor photographers gain clearer detail beneath surface glare.

Polarization Limits and Wide-Angle Use

A circular polarizer works by filtering light at specific angles, so the effect varies with the sun’s position and your shooting direction. Maximum darkening occurs at ninety degrees to the light source and diminishes when shooting directly toward or away from it. The ultra-slim magnalium rim prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses, but extremely wide focal lengths may still show uneven polarization across the frame.

Check Thread Size and Stacking Clearance

Verify that your lens has a 67mm front filter thread before ordering. The slim profile reduces the chance of vignetting, yet adding this filter on top of a protective UV filter or other accessory increases total stack height. Ensure your lens hood or cap can still fit over the combined thickness, especially on lenses with rotating front elements during focus.
