USB 3.2 Gen 1 A-to-B cable

This three-foot cable links USB 3.0 printers, scanners or hubs to a compatible PC or laptop. It carries a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A plug on one end and a Type-B plug on the other. The moulded connector shells reinforce the joint between cable and plug. No driver installation is required for operation.

Up to 5 Gbps with USB 2.0 fallback

The cable supports the full 5 Gbps signalling rate defined by the USB 3.2 Gen 1 specification. When connected to older ports it falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 speeds automatically. Bandwidth is sufficient for typical document printing, scanning and hub traffic. Very large bulk transfers will saturate the link and run at the 5 Gbps ceiling.

Rated for 30 V and 80 °C operating environment

The assembly is qualified for a 30 V working voltage and an 80 °C ambient temperature range. Over-moulded connectors reduce strain during repeated insertion cycles. Power draw follows the USB 3.2 Gen 1 bus-power limits for the attached device. The cable adds no active cooling or noise of its own.
