Dual-Band VHF/UHF Antenna

The usbroway foldable antenna covers the 144 MHz and 430 MHz amateur bands with a 2.15 dBi gain on VHF and 3.2 dBi gain on UHF. It handles up to 20 watts of transmitter power and connects via an SMA male plug. The 15.3 inch radiator folds down for compact carry in a backpack pocket.

SMA Male Fit for Handheld Radios

The SMA male connector mates directly with SMA female ports on compatible handheld transceivers. No adapters or tools are required for installation. The foldable hinge lets the antenna lie flat against the radio body when not in use, freeing up space on a belt clip or chest harness.

20 Watt Power Limit and Portable Gain

The antenna is rated for a maximum of 20 watts input, making it suitable for typical low-power handheld radios. The 2.15 dBi VHF and 3.2 dBi UHF gains extend communication range over a stock rubber duck in open terrain. Builders needing higher power handling or fixed-base performance should look elsewhere.
