Two UHF Stubby Antennas 806-941MHz

This pack contains two short antennas covering the 806-941MHz UHF band. Each unit uses an SMA-F connector and matches the original part number 8505241U06. They are built for Motorola portable radios used in professional and ham environments.

Replaces Long Stock Whips on Listed Models

The stubby profile swaps directly for the taller factory antennas on models such as HT1000, MTX838, MTX950, XTS2500, XTS3000, XTS3500 and XTS5000. The change is worthwhile when a lower silhouette reduces snagging on gear or improves comfort during extended wear.

Fits SMA-F Ports on Compatible Handsets

Installation requires only an SMA-F antenna port on the radio; no tools or tuning are needed. The shorter length frees up space on a belt clip or chest harness and keeps the radio profile compact inside a vehicle mount or tactical vest.

Questions about this item

What connector does the stubby antenna use to fit my Motorola radio?

The antenna uses an SMA-F connector that threads directly onto the radio's antenna port.

How do I install the antenna, and what step do people often miss?

Screw the SMA-F connector on clockwise until it seats firmly; the step often missed is not tightening it enough, which can loosen with vibration.

When will I need to replace these 806-941MHz antennas?

Replace them if the rubber sheath cracks, the SMA-F threads strip, or reception degrades after repeated bending or impact.
