Listen-Only Acoustic Tube Headset

This 3.5 mm listen-only headset uses an acoustic tube to deliver clear audio in loud environments. It is built for professionals such as security staff, law enforcement officers and retail teams who need discreet one-way communication. The quick-disconnect design allows fast attachment to speaker microphones or two-way radios. Users who require two-way talk functionality should choose a different headset.

Installation and Common Issues

The headset plugs directly into any 3.5 mm threaded audio jack on a radio, speaker mic or MP3 player. A reinforced earphone clip secures the cable to prevent strain on the earpiece during movement. The acoustic tube can be rotated for left-ear or right-ear wear without tools. The most common issue is debris blocking the clear tube, which reduces audio clarity until cleaned.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your radio, speaker microphone or audio accessory provides a 3.5 mm earphone jack for audio output. This unit is receive-only and will not transmit voice, so it cannot replace a push-to-talk microphone. Confirm that your device drives a standard listen-only earpiece without proprietary wiring. Custom earplugs can be added later if the standard silicone tips do not seal well.
