Two-Pack Listen-Only Earpiece

This two-pack supplies two acoustic-tube earpieces that receive audio from any speaker microphone fitted with a 3.5 mm listen-only jack. They are intended for security, law-enforcement and event staff who need discreet, hands-free monitoring.

Durable Acoustic Tube Design

A TPU acoustic tube resists cracking and stays flexible during long shifts. An ear-hook and elastic coil are formed for comfort, while anti-cracking joints prevent scratching. The high-purity copper cable and anti-interference circuit keep reception clear in loud environments.

Not Intrinsically Safe or Waterproof

The earpieces carry no intrinsic-safety rating and must not be used in hazardous areas. They are also not waterproof, so they cannot be worn in rain or humid conditions. Buyers needing certified hazardous-area gear or all-weather equipment should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I plug the 3.5 mm listen-only jack into my speaker mic without bending the pin?

Align the 3.5 mm plug straight with the speaker mic jack and push firmly until it clicks; forcing it at an angle bends the centre pin and causes intermittent audio.

Which parts of the acoustic tube kit need periodic replacement?

The three included earmolds and the TPU acoustic tube should be swapped when they become discoloured, lose seal or show cracks; the ear-hook and coil cable rarely need changing.

How long can I wear the earpiece continuously before the cable gets too warm or stiff?

The TPU cable stays flexible for full-shift use, but the manufacturer notes the earpiece is not water-proof and not intrinsically safe, so remove it if exposed to heavy rain or hazardous atmospheres.
