A rugged mono earbud with a 3.5 mm plug and 21-inch cable, built in the USA for racing radio communication
The Challenger II is a single-ear foam earbud speaker built for two-way radio communication in racing and marine environments. It connects directly to a 3.5 mm mono jack and uses rugged blue cabling manufactured in the USA for durability in harsh conditions.
Plug the 3.5 mm mono connector into the radio's earbud jack and insert the foam tip into one ear for immediate use. The fixed 21" cable length limits routing options in larger cockpits, and the mono plug will not carry stereo signals if the source expects a TRS connection.
This earbud requires a 3.5 mm mono audio jack wired for single-channel output. Radios or intercoms with stereo-only or balanced microphone jacks will not work correctly, so verify the jack type before purchase.

Plug the 3.5 mm mono audio plug into the radio's earbud jack, transmit a test message, and verify clear audio comes through the single foam earpiece.
The package contains the Challenger II mono earbud speaker with rugged blue cabling measuring 21 inches; you must supply a compatible two-way radio with a 3.5 mm mono earbud jack.
This model is offered in a single configuration with a 21-inch cable and 3.5 mm mono plug; select it if your radio uses a standard 1/8-inch mono earbud jack.
