Sustained-Duty Tactical Whisper Mic

The microphone is rated for police-grade tactical use and incorporates a whisper-sensitive element that remains clear during extended shifts. Coiled acoustic tubes in the accessory pack resist tangling during prolonged wear.

Compatibility Decides Fit

Questions about this item

Does the EP1334QR-PTT lapel mic draw extra power from the radio during all-day use?

The microphone is passive and uses the radio's existing supply, so it adds no measurable drain during extended shifts.

Which Motorola radio must I already own for the quick-release connector to fit?

The adapter matches the multi-pin accessory port on APX 1000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 6000XE, 7000, 7000XE, 8000, DP3400, DP3401, DP3600, DP3601, DP4000, DP4400, DP4401, DP4600, DP4601, DP4800, DP4801, XPR 6350, 6380, 6550, 6580, 7350 and 7550 models.

Will the coiled acoustic tubes and ghost earmolds work with my older XPR 6350 without changing audio quality?

Yes — the tubes and earmolds connect through the same quick-release adapter used on the XPR 6350, preserving the radio's original audio path.
