Hall Effect Magnetic Switch Keyboard

The usbroway Hero 68 HE is a 60% wired gaming keyboard built around hall effect magnetic switches. It targets competitive players who need instant actuation and adjustable trigger points. The compact layout removes the numpad and function row to save desk space for mouse movement. Side-printed PBT keycaps resist shine and keep legends readable over long sessions.

Adjustable Actuation Replaces Fixed Travel

Traditional mechanical switches rely on a fixed actuation distance that cannot be changed after purchase. This board lets you set the actuation point anywhere between .1 mm and 3.4 mm with .01 mm precision. The jump is worth it for gamers who want a hair-trigger response in shooters or a deeper press for typing comfort without buying different switches. Fast Trigger mode further reduces the effective travel for rapid repeated inputs.

8K Polling And .125ms Latency Under Load

An 8K Hz polling rate reports keystrokes every .125 ms, keeping input delay consistent even during extended play. South-facing RGB LEDs drive 16.8 million colours across 20 lighting effects without increasing latency. The lightbox front design adds ambient glow while the driver or FN shortcuts adjust brightness on the fly. Sustained rapid triggers stay accurate because the magnetic sensors do not degrade like physical contacts.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 60% layout with 68 keys need?

The compact 60% form factor fits in a small footprint, leaving extra room for mouse movement on any standard desk surface.

How do I set the adjustable actuation point between 0.1 and 3.4 mm, and what step do users often miss?

Use the driver software or FN shortcuts to choose the exact actuation distance; the step many miss is saving the profile so the setting persists after a reboot.

Will the side-printed PBT keycaps or the Hall Effect switches need replacement first?

PBT keycaps resist shine far longer than ABS, while the contactless Hall Effect switches are rated for a very high cycle count, so neither is likely to wear out quickly.
