Room for a Group

The Neso Gigante provides an 11 by 11 foot canopy that stands 8 feet tall, creating a large shaded area for family and friends at the beach. Its Nylon/Lycra blend fabric is rated UPF 50+ and includes a lab-tested water-resistant additive. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends this shelter as an effective UV protectant. Colour fastness of 4 helps the fabric retain its appearance after prolonged sun exposure.

Larger Footprint and Certified Protection

This model replaces smaller beach umbrellas or basic pop-up canopies that offer less coverage and no verified UV rating. The jump is worth it when you need a single shelter that covers a whole group and carries a recognised sun-safety endorsement. Buyers who want a compact personal shelter or a structure rated for heavy rain and wind will not find those features here.

Lightweight Portability and Quick Pitch

Weighing 10 pounds and packing into a 19.5 inch carry bag, the tent is easy to transport on flights or to a campsite. Setup takes roughly two minutes, so the shelter is ready almost as soon as you arrive. The fabric and frame are built for repeated assembly and long days in direct sunlight rather than for permanent installation or storm conditions.

Questions about this item

What ground space does the 11' x 11' Neso Gigante need for its footprint?

The canopy covers an 11-foot by 11-foot square, so clear a matching area of sand or grass before unpacking.

Which step in the 2-minute setup do people most often skip when anchoring the Neso Gigante?

Filling all four integrated sand pockets completely before tensioning the corner lines; loose pockets let the frame shift in wind.

How should the Nylon/Lycra blend fabric be cared for to keep its UPF 50+ rating and color fastness of 4?

Rinse with fresh water after each beach use, air-dry fully before packing into the 19.5-inch bag, and avoid machine washing or harsh detergents.
