Classical Brass Gas Stove

The Optimus Svea 8016279 is a classical, light-weight gas stove made of solid brass. It is designed for solo and high-altitude mountaineering tours where packing volume and weight are critical. The stove is renowned for its performance at high altitudes. Its self-pressurised tank requires no pump.

Self-Pressurised High-Altitude Operation

The stove uses a self-pressurised tank so no pump is needed. It is essential for low-oxygen, high-altitude use as a white gas burning stove. Built-in cleaning needles work without having to stop the cooking process. The simple design has no loose parts to lose.

Upgrade from Pump-Dependent Stoves

This stove replaces pump-dependent models that can struggle in thin air. The jump is worth it for mountaineers who need reliable ignition and consistent output at altitude. The integrated lid doubles as a small cooking pot and the handle serves as a built-in maintenance tool.
