Questions about this item

How do I install the driver so the cable is recognised on Windows 10?

Plug the USB connector into the PC, let Windows 10 install the driver automatically, then attach the radio end to the Ailunce HD1 or Retevis RT29 RT48 RB23 RB46 NR30; the common mistake is connecting the radio before the driver finishes.

Which part of the cable wears out first and needs replacement?

The strain relief at the radio connector typically fails after repeated flexing; the cable itself weighs 1.06 oz and is built for long term use, but the moulded plug junction is the weak point.

What is the first limitation I hit during a long programming session?

The USB port supplies limited current, so the radio may disconnect if its battery is deeply discharged; keep the radio powered or charged while writing codeplugs to the Ailunce HD1 or Retevis models.
