Questions about this item

What comes in the two-pack and do I need any extra cables or adapters for my Motorola radio?

The pack contains two speaker microphones each with a TPU-jacketed cable reinforced with high-tensile and Kevlar fibers, a stainless-steel detachable 360-degree rotatable clip and strain-relief moulding; they plug straight into the accessory port of compatible Motorola APX, XPR or SRX radios so no separate cable or adapter is required.

How do I know which of the listed Motorola models this microphone fits?

The microphone is compatible with the full APX series including the 900, 1000, 4000, 6000, 6000LI, 6000XE, 7000, 7000XE, 8000, 8000XE, 8000H and 8000HXE; the XPR series covering the 6100, 6300, 6350, 6380, 6500, 6550, 6580, 7300, 7350, 7380, 7500, 7550, 7580, 7350e, 7380e, 7550e and 7580e; and the SRX 2200.

What does the 360-degree rotatable clip actually do when the mic is clipped to a shoulder strap?

The stainless-steel clip rotates a full 360 degrees and detaches, letting you position the microphone upright, sideways or upside-down on a strap or belt without twisting the reinforced cable, so the mic stays secure and the cable avoids sharp bends during movement.
