Trangia 25-2 UL Cookset for Camping

The Trangia 25-2 UL Cookset is a complete camping stove system that includes a kettle and spirit burner. It is designed for backpackers and outdoor groups who need a reliable alcohol-fuelled cooking solution. The set packs down to 8.5" x 4.25" and weighs 2.32 lbs (1055 g).

Sustained Cooking with Alcohol Fuel

The spirit burner delivers a steady 1000 w output and brings one litre of water to a boil in about eight minutes. Alcohol fuel burns cleanly without the pressure fluctuations of canister stoves, so heat remains consistent during longer simmering tasks. The system suits travellers who prefer fuel that is widely available and easy to transport.

Questions about this item

How hot does the 1000 w spirit burner get during an 8 min boil?

The alcohol burner delivers 1000 w output and brings 1 litre to a boil in about 8 minutes, so the flame runs hot enough for rapid water heating.

Do I need to supply my own alcohol fuel for the spirit burner to work?

Yes, the stove burns alcohol fuel, so you must provide methylated spirits or denatured alcohol before you can cook.
