Direct Replacement Pack

This two-pack of Ni-MH batteries delivers 4.8 V and 700 mAh each, matching the original Midland BATT6R specification. They are designed to slot straight into compatible LXT-series two-way radios so users can keep communicating without hunting for proprietary cells.

Suits owners of listed Midland LXT models

The cells work with the LXT-276, LXT-314, LXT-317, LXT-322, LXT-323, LXT-324, LXT-330 and LXT-335 series radios. Anyone using a different brand or a Midland model not shown in the compatibility list should look for the correct pack instead.

Simple drop-in install

Each battery fits the existing compartment without tools or soldering; charge them in the radio’s standard cradle or desk charger. The only common issue is reversed polarity if the pack is forced in backwards, so align the contacts before pressing home.

Questions about this item

Which Midland two-way radio models accept the 4.8 V 700 mAh Ni-MH pack?

The pack fits Midland BATT6R and LXT models 276, 314, 317, 322, 323, 324, 330 and 335 series radios.

Will the pack charge in the original Midland desktop charger?

Yes, the Ni-MH chemistry and 4.8 V rating match the original BATT6R so the standard Midland charger handles it normally.

How do I confirm the pack is holding its rated capacity after the first few charge cycles?

Run the radio on a full charge until low-battery alert; a healthy pack should deliver roughly the same talk time as the original 700 mAh cell.
