Purpose & fit

This UseBean USB-C extension cable adds a short 1 ft reach with a 90 degree right-angle connector. It suits laptop, tablet or phone users who need to route the cable neatly around tight desk edges or crowded ports. The male-to-female layout preserves the host port while extending power, data and video signals. Builders who need a longer run or a straight connector should look elsewhere.

Interface limits

The cable carries USB 3.2 traffic at up to 20 Gbps and delivers up to 100 W of Power Delivery charging at 20 V 5 A. Video output reaches 4K resolution at 60 Hz, provided both the host and the display support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. USB 2.0 peripherals may only work when the connector is flipped to the correct orientation due to protocol compatibility.

Deciding spec

The 90 degree up-and-down angle is the single feature that determines fit; it directs the cable vertically to reduce strain on ports and save space in cramped setups. If your routing requires a straight or side-angled exit, this cable will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Which length and connector style should I choose for a tight desk setup?

This cable is 1 ft long with a 90 degree up-and-down right-angle USB-C male-to-female design that reduces strain on ports and saves space.

What does the 20 Gbps rating mean when I move large files?

It supports USB 3.2 data transfer up to 20 Gbps, so an HD video can copy in seconds provided both host and device ports support that speed.

Will the USB-C 3.2 extension cap charging or video on my 100 W laptop?

The cable carries up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A) Power Delivery and 4K at 60 Hz (3840 x 2160) video, so it does not limit either function when both ends support them.
