Product identity

This Ushio halogen bulb delivers 1000W output at 120V with a 3350K colour temperature. It uses an R7s recessed single contact base and a CC-8 filament. The rated life is 75 hours. It suits projector and stage-lighting applications that require intense white light.

Compatibility check

Verify that your fixture accepts an R7s recessed single contact base and operates at 120V. Confirm the housing can accommodate a 1000W halogen lamp and dissipate the associated heat. Ensure the socket and wiring are rated for the full wattage before installation.

Build and daily use

The double-ended quartz envelope produces a brighter, whiter light than standard incandescent bulbs. The compact R7s base allows quick lamp changes in ceiling fixtures, track heads or showcase displays. Handle the bulb with clean gloves to avoid contaminating the quartz and shortening the 75-hour service life.

Questions about this item

Does the Ushio 1000068 halogen bulb ship with any mounting hardware or adapters?

The bulb features an R7s recessed single-contact base and a CC-8 filament; it is supplied as the lamp only without extra fittings.

How do I decide between this 1000W 3350K model and a lower-wattage halogen option?

Choose this 1000W 120V lamp when the fixture requires that wattage and a 3350K colour temperature; lower-wattage versions will not match the specified output.

What does the 75-hour rated life mean for daily projector use?

At the rated 75 hours, the lamp will last roughly 75 sessions of one hour each before replacement is needed.
