Ushio EMD halogen bulb 750W 120V

The Ushio EMD JP120V-750WCF is a double-ended tungsten halogen lamp rated at 750 watts and 120 volts. It delivers a light output of 19500 lumens for professional studio, video and stage lighting applications. The bulb fits fixtures such as the Lowel Tota-light and Smith-Victor 750-SG.

Double-ended base fits studio fixtures

The lamp uses a double-ended base that slots directly into compatible cyc strip, soft light and strip lighting heads. No separate ballast is required because the halogen design runs on mains voltage. This frees up rigging space otherwise needed for external power supplies.

400-hour rated life under continuous heat

The filament is rated for an average life of 400 hours when operated at full voltage in enclosed fixtures. Sustained output remains stable until the tungsten evaporates enough to end lamp life. Frequent striking or voltage variation will reduce the usable hours below the rated figure.

Questions about this item

How long will the 750 W halogen filament last under continuous studio use?

The lamp carries a rated average life of 400 hours at its full 750 W output.

What heat or noise should I expect when the bulb runs all day in a fixture?

A 750 W halogen capsule produces intense heat and requires forced-air or open ventilation; it operates silently but the fixture surface becomes very hot.

Which fixture socket and voltage must I already have for this double-ended lamp?

The bulb needs a 120 V double-ended socket such as those in Lowel Tota-light or Smith-Victor 750-SG fixtures.
