Ultraspec 2001 OTG Safety Glasses

These Uvex Ultraspec 2001 OTG safety glasses are built for workers and hobbyists who must wear prescription eyewear underneath protective lenses. The clear polycarbonate lenses carry a scratch-resistant coating and the frame is finished in clear and black. They meet ANSI Z87.1-2010 and CSA Z94.3-2007 impact standards.

ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3 compliance

The glasses satisfy the 2010 ANSI Z87.1 high-impact requirement and the 2007 CSA Z94.3 Canadian standard, so they are accepted on most North American job sites that demand those certifications. The lenses block 99.9% of ultraviolet radiation. No additional optical ratings or specialised coatings are claimed by the manufacturer.

Prescription frame clearance and coating care

Before ordering, confirm that your everyday frames fit inside the OTG temple design without pressing against the lenses. The scratch-resistant coating helps durability but is not immune to abrasive cleaning; follow the maker’s cleaning guidance to keep optical clarity.
