Under-cabinet COB LED strip

This 3.28 ft COB LED strip runs on 5 V USB power and delivers 800 lm of 6500 K white light from 320 LEDs. The 10 W strip measures 32 in and weighs 0.03 lb with a flexible plastic body and copper finish. It is non-dimmable and has no switch, so it operates as a simple plug-and-play light source for indoor use.

Suitable for fixed accent lighting.

The strip suits cabinets, shelves, TV backlighting and similar indoor accent tasks where a constant 6500 K output is wanted. Buyers who need dimming, colour changing or a built-in switch should look elsewhere, as this model provides only a single fixed intensity. The adhesive backing allows quick mounting on most clean surfaces.

Requires 5 V 2.1 A USB power source

The single specification that decides compatibility is the power requirement: a 5 V USB supply rated for at least 2.1 A (10 W) must be used, otherwise the strip will flicker or the USB head may overheat. The 12 V rating in the data refers to the LED package specification, not the input voltage. Expected lifetime is 30000 to 50000 hours.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the strip is working correctly after plugging it into a USB port?

The strip should light up immediately with uniform 6500K white output at 800 lumens across all 320 COB LEDs; flickering means the USB supply is below the required 5V 2.1A 10W rating.

What comes in the box and what must I supply separately?

You receive the 3.28 ft COB strip with self-adhesive backing; a 5V USB power source capable of 2.1A (10W) is not included and must be provided by you.

Which length or colour-temperature version should I choose for under-cabinet use?

This model is a single 3.28 ft (59.05 in) strip at 6500K pure white; other lengths or colour temperatures are not offered for the TY-COB-1.
