Vehicle-specific infotainment upgrade

This 2-in-1 accessory replaces the factory radio in Dodge RAM 1500, 2500 and 3500 models from 2013 through 2018 with manual air conditioning. It runs an Android operating system with an 8-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, and includes a rear-view camera in the package. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are supported alongside built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

10-inch QLED touchscreen

The 10-inch capacitive display uses QLED technology for vivid colours and sharp resolution during navigation, media playback and hands-free calls. Factory steering-wheel controls are retained so the driver can adjust volume and tracks without removing hands from the wheel. Plug-and-play wiring allows a harmless installation that does not modify the original harness.

Bundled camera and installation aids

A rear-view camera is supplied to provide a clear view when reversing, and the kit includes all necessary cables and mounting hardware. Clear written instructions and an installation video guide the fitting process, while professional after-sales support is available online. The system also grants access to thousands of Android apps for additional entertainment and utility.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 10-inch QLED screen in my 2015 Dodge RAM 1500 and keep the steering wheel controls working?

The unit uses a plug-and-play harness that matches the factory connectors for 2013-2018 RAM 1500/2500/3500 models with manual AC. Connect the included CAN-bus adapter before mounting the screen so steering wheel buttons remain active.

What parts of this Android stereo might need replacement after a few years of daily use?

The 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage are fixed on the mainboard and cannot be upgraded. Long-term, the micro-SD slot or USB ports may wear from frequent card or drive insertion, and the rear-view camera cable can degrade if exposed to weather.

At what point does the 8-core CPU throttle during long navigation sessions?

The 8-core processor shares a passive heatsink with the QLED panel. Under continuous high-load tasks such as 3D mapping plus wireless CarPlay, surface temperatures rise until the SoC reduces clock speeds to protect itself.
