Two-pack black cartridges for HP OfficeJet Pro

This two-pack supplies 962XL black ink for HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, 9012, 9014, 9015, 9016, 9018, 9019, 9020, 9022, 9025, 9026, 9027, 9028 and 9029 printers. Each cartridge is new and includes a chip so the printer recognises it immediately. The set is intended for offices or home users who print regularly and want a ready spare.

Printers enrolled in HP+ cannot accept these

The firmware on HP+ registered devices blocks third-party ink, so the cartridges will not work if the printer is tied to that service. A "Not original" message may appear on other models; pressing "Yes" or "Continue" lets printing proceed. Buyers who have activated HP+ or plan to enrol should not purchase this pack.

Up to 2000 pages per cartridge at five percent

The quoted yield of 2000 pages per black cartridge assumes standard 5% coverage on A4 paper. Heavy graphics, dense text or frequent cleaning cycles will reduce the actual page count. Users who routinely print full-page photos or high-coverage documents will exhaust the ink sooner than the rated figure.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 2-pack or a single 962XL cartridge for my OfficeJet Pro 9015?

The 2-pack supplies two black cartridges, each rated for up to 2000 pages at 5% coverage, so you replace them half as often as buying singles.

What does "up to 2000 pages" mean for everyday printing on my 9025?

That figure follows the ISO 5% coverage test on A4 paper; full-page photos or dense text will yield fewer pages, while light letters will yield more.

Does the chip on these 962XL cartridges work with the HP 9010 series firmware?

Yes, each cartridge includes a chip that communicates with OfficeJet Pro 9010 and 9020 series printers; just press "Continue" if a "Not original" message appears.
