Valcom 1W bi-directional corridor speaker

This Valcom corridor speaker delivers 1 watt of audio through a bi-directional driver arrangement. A built-in amplifier and volume control are integrated into the white enclosure. The unit measures 10.3"H x 10.3"W x 4.2"D and weighs 6.4lbs. It is designed for straightforward installation in hallway or corridor settings.

Suits paging installers needing a self-powered

Installers who require a self-contained speaker with on-board amplification and local volume adjustment for corridor paging will find this unit appropriate. Buyers who need a speaker without a built-in amplifier, or who require a higher output level than 1 watt, should consider other options. The fixed white finish and specific dimensions may not suit every architectural style.

Built-in amplifier with volume control decides fit

The defining specification is the integrated amplifier combined with a physical volume control on the speaker itself. This allows the unit to operate directly from a line-level paging source without external power amplifiers. If your system design calls for a passive speaker driven by a central amplifier rack, this model is not the correct choice.
