1/4" Brass Ball Valve 400 psi CWP
This inline valve controls flow of air, oil, steam or water in residential and light-commercial plumbing. A two-piece brass body with a chrome-plated brass ball provides full-port passage and a non-locking handle for manual operation.
Check thread type and pressure rating
Verify that the existing piping uses 1/4 inch FNPT threads before ordering. Confirm the system operating pressure does not exceed 400 psi CWP and that steam service stays at or below 150 psi.
Fits straight-run piping with full-port flow
The straight body installs directly in line without reducing the bore, so it frees up the full flow area for the media. Vacuum service is rated to 29 in Hg, and the valve meets no 3-A sanitary standard, limiting use to non-sanitary applications.

Questions about this item
What comes with the valve and what must I supply myself?
The valve is supplied as a single unit with a chrome-plated brass ball and a non-locking handle; you will need to provide 1/4 in FNPT fittings and any thread sealant or pipe tape required for installation.
How do I decide between the 400 psi and 150 psi ratings?
Use the 400 psi rating for air, oil and water service, and the 150 psi rating when the valve will carry steam; choose the rating that matches the highest pressure the system will see for that medium.
What does the 29 in Hg vacuum rating mean in practice?
It means the valve will hold a full vacuum of 29 in Hg without leakage, so it can be used on suction lines or vacuum systems that pull down to that level.
