This union connects two lengths of 1/8 inch FNPT pipe in plumbing systems. It is built from galvanized malleable iron to Class 300 specifications. The fitting meets ASME B 16.3, B 16.4 and B 16.39 standards. It suits installers needing a removable joint in a corrosion-resistant package.

Capacity and headroom

The union handles up to 600 psi water, oil or gas at 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Saturated steam service is rated to 300 psi. Beyond these limits the joint may leak or deform. It is not suited for higher-pressure hydraulic circuits or superheated steam lines.
