Installation and common issues

The burettes arrive individually protected but must be inspected for transit fractures before first use. Mount each burette vertically on a stable stand using a burette clamp that does not stress the glass body. Ensure the PTFE stopcock plug is lubricated correctly; over-tightening the retaining nut can crack the bore or cause the plug to seize during operation.
