What it measures

This digital panel meter reads AC current from 0 to 5 A using an external current transformer. It fits a standard 1/8 DIN cutout and connects through screw terminals for panel installation.

Sustained accuracy

True RMS measurement maintains a tolerance of ±0.5 % of range plus one digit across the full span. The red LED display covers 0 to 40 and 0 to 400 counts for clear reading during continuous operation.

Power requirement

The unit operates on 40 V to 300 V AC or DC without separate excitation. Installers must verify that the available supply falls inside this window before wiring the meter.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 48x96 meter add when powered from a 300 V supply all day?

The meter draws power from a 40 V to 300 V AC/DC source with no excitation needed, so its own heat contribution inside a panel is minimal.

What external component must I already own to measure 5 A with this meter?

An external 5 A AC current transformer is required; the meter accepts the transformer output via screw terminals.

Will the screw-terminal wiring on this 12G482 match the terminal blocks on my older DIN-rail gear?

The meter fits a standard 1/8 DIN cutout and uses screw terminals, a common layout on legacy panel equipment.
