The ZORO SELECT 13E395 mounts in a panel cut-out and displays temperature on a 0.4 in high four-digit LCD. It covers -58 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit with a 1 1/4 in diameter NTC sensor on a 5 ft cable. Power comes from a single AAA cell and the unit carries a Proposition 65 warning for listed chemicals.

Accuracy across the range

Between -4 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit the readout stays within 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit of true temperature. Outside that band the tolerance widens to 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit. No backlight is fitted, so the display relies on ambient light for visibility in dim conditions.

Panel-mount build and daily use

The 1.34 in wide by 0.4 in high housing slips into a dashboard or enclosure and is held by the integral mounting collar.
