Analog panel thermometer reads 30 to 240 °F on a 3.5 in dial with a 304 stainless-steel case and 5 ft capillary
The Value Brand 13G230 analog panel thermometer measures temperatures from 30 to 240 degrees Fahrenheit with a 3.5 inch dial. It mounts via a 1/2 inch MNPT connection and includes a 5 foot cable for flexible positioning. The 304 stainless steel housing and polycarbonate lens suit harsh industrial environments where digital sensors may fail.
This mechanical instrument requires no external power supply, eliminating heat generation and electrical noise entirely. The analog movement provides continuous indication without sampling delays or digital conversion artifacts. Zero power draw means it adds no load to facility circuits and operates reliably during power outages or in intrinsically safe zones.
The 13G230 replaces failed or outdated bimetal thermometers in existing panel cutouts with the same 1/2 inch MNPT fitting. The jump is worthwhile when a NIST-traceable calibration certificate is required for compliance audits. It does not suit applications needing remote telemetry, data logging, alarm contacts or sub-degree resolution.

Thread the 1/2 in MNPT fitting into the matching port and secure the 5 ft cable without sharp bends; the common error is cross-threading the stainless fitting or kinking the capillary during routing.
The 304 stainless housing and polycarbonate lens resist corrosion, so only periodic calibration checks are required; replace the unit if the dial reading drifts outside the 30 to 240 F range.
Continuous exposure near 240 F can stress the polycarbonate lens and the bimetallic sensing element, causing gradual loss of accuracy before the 304 stainless housing is affected.
