Product Identity

This polyethylene tarp measures 15 x 20 ft cut size and finishes at 14 ft 2 in x 19 ft 6 in. It is built for standard-duty coverage of equipment, materials or outdoor work areas where a waterproof barrier is required.

Practical Limits

The fabric weighs 3.5 oz per square yard at 5.1 mil thickness with heat-sealed seams and aluminum grommets spaced every 36 in. It resists flame, mildew, tearing and UV exposure but is not breathable, so condensation can form underneath during extended use.

Deciding Specification

The finished dimensions of 14 ft 2 in by 19 ft 6 in determine whether this tarp fits the intended coverage area; buyers needing a larger or smaller footprint should select a different size.

Questions about this item

What is the difference between the 15 x 20 ft cut size and the 14 ft 2 in x 19 ft 6 in finished size?

The cut size is the dimensions before hemming; the finished size shrinks to 14 ft 2 in by 19 ft 6 in after heat-sealed edges and grommets are added.

How does the 5.1 mil thickness perform for everyday outdoor covering?

At 5.1 mil and 3.5 oz/sq yd the tarp is rated standard duty, giving waterproof, tear-resistant and UV-resistant protection for general use.

What does the 36 in grommet spacing mean for tie-down options?

Aluminium grommets every 36 inches along the perimeter provide regular anchor points for ropes or bungee cords around the entire tarp.
