This black forged steel union provides a threaded pipe connection rated for Class 3000 service. It conforms to ANSI B1.20.1, ASME B16.11 and ASTM A105 standards. The FNPT threads accept 3/4 inch pipe sizes. Maximum pressure is 3000 psi at 72 degrees F.

Installation uses standard FNPT threading

The union joins two pipes with female National Pipe Taper threads on each end. Apply compatible thread sealant or tape to the male threads before assembly. Tighten to the torque appropriate for 3/4 inch Class 3000 fittings. Over-tightening can crack the forged steel body or strip the threads.
