Two-hole copper compression lug for 250 kcmil stranded wire with 3/8 in stud and 1 in hole spacing
This ZORO SELECT compression lug connects 250 kcmil stranded copper wire to a 3/8 in stud. The two-hole design with 1 in centre spacing provides a secure termination for industrial and automotive power circuits. It is rated for 600 V AC and a maximum operating temperature of 300 Degrees F. The seamless copper barrel carries a yellow colour code and die code 62.
The lug is limited to 600 V AC and 300 Degrees F continuous operation. It accepts only 250 kcmil stranded copper conductors; smaller or larger wire sizes will not fit the barrel. The fixed 3/8 in stud hole and 1.13 in tongue width dictate the mounting pattern. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.
A proper crimp tool matched to die code 62 is required for a reliable connection. The inspection hole allows visual confirmation that the conductor is fully seated before crimping. Common errors include using the wrong die, insufficient crimp force, or inserting wire that is not 250 kcmil stranded copper. The short barrel leaves minimal margin for misalignment.

This lug is built for a single stranded copper size of 250 kcmil, with a 3/8 in stud hole and short barrel. The yellow colour code and die code 62 match that exact conductor.
The 600 V AC maximum voltage is the highest continuous potential the copper connector can see in service. Your circuit voltage must stay at or below that level.
The crimp style requires a compression tool using die code 62, and the seamless barrel eliminates a split seam so the joint stays uniform under load.
