One-Hole Copper Lug for 1 AWG

This ZORO SELECT compression lug connects a single 1 AWG stranded copper conductor to a 1/2 in stud. The seamless copper barrel is colour-coded green and carries die code 37. It is CSA certified and UL listed for 600 V AC at up to 300 °F. The straight tongue measures 0.75 in wide and has no inspection hole.

Installers needing a long-barrel single-hole crimp

Suits electricians and maintenance technicians who require a long-barrel, one-hole lug for 1 AWG copper on a half-inch stud. Not for buyers who need a two-hole mounting pattern, an inspection window, or a connector rated for aluminium conductors.

Long barrel with die code 37 for 1 AWG copper

The extended barrel length and green die code 37 identify this lug for 1 AWG stranded copper. This single specification confirms the correct crimp tool setting and conductor fit for the application.

Questions about this item

What wire size does the 1 AWG lug fit?

It is made for a single 1 AWG stranded copper conductor — no smaller or larger gauge is recommended.

How much current can the 600 V AC rating actually carry in a panel?

The 600 V AC limit is the insulation withstand voltage; allowable current depends on the 1 AWG copper ampacity tables and the 300 °F temperature ceiling.

Does the 1/2 in stud hole match standard SAE or metric hardware?

The hole is sized for a 1/2 inch stud, which is a common imperial bolt size in North American electrical equipment.
