Analog panel meter measures AC current from 0 to 15 A with 1.5 percent full-scale accuracy in a 4.5 inch polycarbonate case
The Value Brand analog panel meter measures AC current from 0 to 15 A with a 4.5 inch display. A moving-iron movement provides a +/- 1.5 percent full-scale accuracy rating. The case uses 10 percent glass-filled polycarbonate with a polycarbonate window. It meets UL standards and includes a mounting template and screws.
This unit replaces smaller analog meters when a 4.5 inch scale improves readability at a distance. The jump is worth it for panels where operators must confirm current levels quickly without approaching the enclosure. It suits new installations that specify a 0-15 A AC range and UL-listed components.
The moving-iron movement responds to the heating effect of current, so it reads true RMS for sinusoidal waveforms. Non-sinusoidal loads can introduce error beyond the stated 1.5 percent full-scale figure. The polycarbonate window and case resist impact but are not rated for prolonged UV exposure or aggressive chemical environments.

The meter includes a mounting template that matches the 4.5 in case; use the template to mark and cut the panel opening.
Fasten the supplied mounting screws through the case flanges; the step most often missed is using the template to align the holes before drilling.
The moving-iron movement should be re-verified against the ±1.5 % full-scale accuracy spec during periodic calibration.
