What it is and who uses it

This bimetal thermometer measures temperatures from -20 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit with a stated accuracy of plus or minus one percent. The two inch dial and six inch stem suit HVAC, plumbing and general mechanical checks where a rugged stainless steel housing and glass lens are preferred. It is supplied without a NIST-traceable certificate.

Before ordering check your setup

Verify that the process connection matches a quarter inch NPT back mount and that the six inch stem length reaches the measurement point inside your pipe or vessel. Confirm the temperature range covers the expected extremes in your application.

Thermals noise and power draw

The instrument is purely mechanical and requires no power supply, so it adds no electrical load and produces no audible noise. The stainless steel case and glass lens withstand normal ambient conditions without active cooling.
