Drum Deheader for 30 and 55 Gallon Drums

This forged steel deheader removes heads from closed head drums with capacities of 30 gal and 55 gal. It is built for industrial maintenance crews and facility technicians who need a manual tool for routine drum opening tasks.

Ratchet Drive Installation and Common Issues

The ratchet drive engages with a clockwise operating direction and a 14 in steel tube handle that provides leverage. Users sometimes find the 1 in blade length too short for heavily crimped lids, and the rubber grip can slip when hands are oily.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under repeated use the forged steel head and body resist deformation while the non sparking steel construction maintains safety. The 5.5 in overall width keeps the tool stable during extended sessions on multiple drums.
