Fire Retardant Drainage Tarp 15x15 ft

The Value Brand fire retardant drainage tarp measures 15 by 15 feet and is made from white polyethylene. It is designed to catch and divert liquid leaks by hanging from its four corners. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Suitable for temporary roof leak diversion

This tarp suits facilities teams needing a lightweight, hangable diverter for short-term roof leaks or equipment drips. It is not for buyers who need an integrated drain hose, a heavier reinforced construction, or a covering rated for long-term outdoor exposure.

Behaviour under sustained load

The polyethylene material resists ignition but will degrade under prolonged UV exposure and constant water weight. Performance depends on secure corner anchoring; sagging increases if the structure shifts or fasteners loosen over time.

Questions about this item

What corner fittings do I need to hang this 15 ft by 15 ft drainage tarp?

The tarp is designed to hang by its four corners. You will need rope, bungee cords or similar ties that can be secured to overhead anchor points such as beams, hooks or a frame.

Will this polyethylene tarp withstand contact with the metal roof flashing on my older building?

The polyethylene material is chemically inert and will not corrode or degrade when touching standard metal flashing, gutters or roof edges.

How can I confirm the tarp is diverting water correctly after I hang it?

After installation, run water onto the surface or wait for rain. The white polyethylene should channel water toward the centre and away from the protected area without pooling or dripping at the corners.
