Heavy-Duty Canvas Tarp 30 Mil

This heavy-duty tarp uses cotton canvas with a 30 mil thickness and a 15 oz/sq yd fabric weight. The finished dimensions are 9 ft 6 in by 11 ft 6 in, cut from a 10 x 12 ft sheet. It is designed for demanding outdoor coverage where breathability and durability are required.

Brass Grommets 24 In Spacing

Double-stitched seams and brass grommets with a .5 in inside diameter run every 24 in along the edges. This layout lets you secure the tarp with rope or bungee cords without tearing the fabric. The mildew-resistant and UV-resistant treatment helps the material last through extended exposure.

Water-Resistant Olive Green Cover

The olive green finish provides low-visibility coverage while resisting water penetration. It replaces lighter poly tarps that degrade quickly under sun and wind. The breathable canvas reduces condensation underneath, making the jump worthwhile for long-term equipment storage or site protection.

Questions about this item

How long will the 30 mil cotton canvas hold up before the fabric weight gives out under daily sun and rain?

The 15 oz/sq yd canvas is mildew and UV resistant, so the heavy-duty weave resists rot and sunlight degradation far longer than light poly tarps.

Does the brass grommet spacing create flapping noise or heat buildup when the tarp is tied down tight all day?

Grommets every 24 inches let you secure the tarp evenly, eliminating loose sections that flap in wind and preventing heat pockets under the olive-green cover.

What tie-down hardware do I need to use the 0.5 in brass grommets right out of the box?

You only need rope, bungee cords or zip ties that fit through a half-inch grommet — no special clips or tools are required.
