It uses a non-toxic blue liquid column inside a glass window with an aluminum case and white scale marked in 2-degree divisions. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus one percent of scale. The instrument is supplied new and includes instructions.

Lower Connection with Variable Angle

A 1-1/4-18 lower connection threads directly into a fitting, while the variable-angle body lets the user rotate the scale for readable positioning. The stem measures three and one-half inches overall with a two and one-half inch insertion length and a 0.44 inch diameter.
