Suits light duty lifting and storage

Homeowners raising bicycles, seasonal boxes or shop tools will find the capacity adequate. Installations that exceed one hundred pounds or require a larger sheave diameter should use different hardware.

Questions about this item

What joist size and mounting hardware do I need to install this pulley?

The pulley has an eye hook with a 3/8 in inside diameter and a 2 in sheave outside diameter, so you need a joist that accepts a 3/8 in fastener and the matching lag screw or bolt for the mount.

Can I use this 100 lb capacity pulley with lighter rope and existing hooks I already own?

Yes, as long as your rope fits the 2 in sheave and your hooks or anchors are rated for the same 100 lb maximum load, the pulley will work with your existing hardware.
