Lamp Changer Head for Large Bulbs

The Value Brand 2D008 lamp changer head fits G40, G48, PS35 and PS40 bulbs. It uses a finger mechanism with a garter spring to grip the glass securely. The tool is designed for maintenance tasks on compatible large-format lamps.

Installation and Common Issues

The head attaches to a compatible pole such as Grainger part 3V698 for overhead reach. Alignment of the fingers with the bulb base is critical before twisting. Excessive force can crack the glass or deform the spring.

Compatibility Limits

This changer works only with the four listed bulb types and the specified pole interface. It will not grip smaller bases or different globe shapes. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemical exposure.
