Value Brand Mesh Tarp 10 x 12 ft 10 mil Polyethylene Standard Duty Black

Standard-Duty Mesh Tarp 10 x 12 ft

This black polyethylene mesh tarp measures ten by twelve feet cut size and finishes at nine feet eight inches by eleven feet eight inches. It features a ten mil thickness and a fabric weight of five point eight ounces per square yard. Brass grommets are spaced twenty-four inches apart along the web-reinforced edges. The single-stitched seam finish provides standard-duty strength for general coverage needs.

Upgrade from Light-Duty Covers

Buyers replacing lightweight plastic sheeting or worn canvas tarps will gain tear-resistant and mildew-resistant performance. The jump is worth it when a cover must withstand repeated handling and outdoor exposure without waterproofing requirements. It is not for buyers who need a fully waterproof barrier or insulated protection for temperature-sensitive loads.

Sustained Outdoor Exposure

Under continuous sun and wind the polyethylene material resists mildew growth and tearing better than non-reinforced alternatives. The mesh construction allows air passage which reduces wind stress on grommets and tie-down points. Brass grommets maintain grip through repeated tension cycles. The cover is not breathable in the sense of moisture vapour transmission and offers no water resistance during rain.
