Value Brand Standard Duty Tarp 10 x 12 ft 10 Mil Tan Polyethylene

Standard Duty 10 Mil Tarp

This polyethylene tarp measures 10 by 12 feet with a 10 mil thickness. The tan cover is designed for standard duty protection across general outdoor and job-site applications. Brass grommets are spaced every 24 inches along the reinforced edges for secure tie-down points. It suits buyers who need a basic moisture barrier without insulation or high-visibility features.

Sustained Outdoor Exposure

The single-stitched seams and web-reinforced construction resist tearing when the sheet is stretched over loads for extended periods. UV-resistant polyethylene slows degradation during long days in direct sunlight. Mildew-resistant treatment helps the fabric stay serviceable in damp conditions. This tarp is not waterproof, so pooling water will eventually penetrate the material.

Thermal And Environmental Behaviour

The 5.8 oz per square yard fabric does not insulate, so heat transfers freely between the covered object and the ambient air. Brass grommets conduct temperature but do not corrode under normal moisture exposure. Breathable construction allows air movement, reducing condensation build-up underneath. California Proposition 65 warnings note chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.
